Nick is a very knowledgeable and consienctious tour guide.Every time he was part of our tour. He would share his knowledge with us about the Balinese culture and traditions that are unique to this beautiful country. Nick was always very helpful and went far beyond what expected of him to ensure our vacation was so enjoyable. He was especially helpful to me when I had the misfortune of losing my wallet in the Denpasar Airport. When he received word from our travel guide about my lost wallet, he immediately went to the airport and made contact with people he knew letting them know what he was looking for and that a reward would be offered. Within a short time, he had located my wallet and made sure the contents of it were returned to me in Canada. In his words, Nick felt he had a moral responsibility to find my wallet for me as he is very proud of his beautiful country and felt this incident may have a negative effect on the tourist industry. I would highly recommend Nick as a tour guide for anyone visiting Bali.

“I was referred to Nick by a friend when I was planning a trip to Bali in the winter of ’07. I e-mailed him to gather some information regarding locations, hotels, and activities, and his reply was prompt, detailed, and extremely informative. Immediately, I was comfortable with Nick as a trustworthy and competent guide for my time in Bali. Once I arrived in Bali, I was very pleased not only Nick’s extensive knowledge and understanding of the island and the Balinese culture, but also with his ability to communicate in the English language. One of the reasons for my trip was to look at Balinese stone and wood carvings for my clients, and Nick was able to take me to the best and most reasonable vendors on the island, without the typical requirement of sifting through them yourself. Bali exceeded or expectations! My daughter and I had such a wonderful time! Nick was extremely patient with us while we shopped and was a great interpreter and negotiator for us! He has such a vast knowledge of his country and it's heritage. It was an enriching experience learning about the history and traditions of the temples and people. I greatly appreciate his flexibility to customize the tour which would best suite us! ( Which at times is challenging when trying to incorporate culture with shopping! )
