We had Nick as our tour guide for a group of 6 gals from the US and Canada on 5/9/10. He was everything we hoped for and more. His english is great and his knowledge of the island and history is awesome. He customized a 12 hr tour for us and delivered us to the airport in the evening for our flight. Vehicle was very comfortable and he provided us with water and cold washcloths for refreshing. I would highly recommend you contact Nick for your next tour!!

I contacted Nick before my trip to Bali to arrange for a one day Borobudur Tour. He was very quick in his email reply and provided all the information that I needed. What made Nick stand out is his professionalism and superb customer service. He kept in touch with me all the time about the progress of the tour arrangement.

Nick is very organized and resposible person. He really impressed me with his work ethics. I was really surprised that he was willing to wait at my hotel till 1AM to give me all the information. He even sent text message to the driver who's picking us up at 4AM to make sure that he would not oversleep.

We have just returned from beautiful Bali after spending 2 wonderful weeks touring.

Having been to Bali 12 years ago and spending most of our time in Kuta we wanted to venture further from the usual tourist attractions.

After researching many sites on the net for private guides it was a blessing to hire Nick to accompany us throughout Bali with our 2 young daughters. We travelled with Nick for 7 days visiting many sights which simply are not included in the standard package tours which offer no flexibility. Our "wish" list was long and covered all points of the island. Nick was excellent in arranging an itinerary whereby we had the opportunity to experience the "real" Bali.

Nick speaks english beautifully, the best you will find in Bali. He is highly educated and his knowledge of history and culture is outstanding. Our driver, Astra, was amazing and despite the somewhat chaotic driving conditions we always felt safe.

Nick's pride and love for Bali is reflected in his passion for his work. He was very accommodating with unscheduled stops for photo opportunities and always offered us the option to change our itinerary if we so wished. He also recommended several attractions that we were not aware of.

If you're looking for a tourist guide in Bali, Nick is the right choice and he will surely not disappoint you.
It's hard to write a testimonial as it seems that Nick is consistently providing good quality guiding services for tourists all over the world over the past years. Many testimonials here have already faithfully tell how good Nick is as a guide. But I think there's one thing missing. Besides fluent English communication, and wide range of knowledge of history and culture in Bali, what I think makes Nick outstanding is his heart to strive for the best travel experience and benefit for his clients.
I had hired Nick during 4.17-20, 2009 (4 days) as a guide and driver and here are some examples in my trip why I think that Nick has the heart that makes him the best:
In the first day when I went to Taman Ayun, it suddenly rainned cats and dogs, though unfortunately Nick didn't have umbrellas in his car that day, he went to buy for me and my Mum by his own money.
On the second day when we dined on the famous beach with lots of grilled seafood restaurants on it after visiting the Uluwatu, there were some misunderstandings between us and the staff on the price of the food, Nick was there to solve the problem!
Nick was also very patient in the whole trip. He took the initiative to ask if we would like to get off the car and take photos when we passed through a big, gorgeous rice field. Nearly everyday's trip had went over time and Nick did not seem to be in a hurry to leave. Even on the last day, after we reached the airport, Nick left only after seeing us queuing in the correct counter outside(as only passenger can enter the airport).
It's easy to get a guide who speaks fluent English and lots of local knowledge as he/she is trained for it, but it hard to get one like Nick that has the heart. I highly recommand him to everyone, and I will be using his service again in July!

We went to Bali for a weekend getaway. During our 2nd day of tour, on the way to our 1st stop, he proposed a different itinerary in lieu of our original customized itinerary. This was to allow us to experience and see more of Bali, hence maximizing our stay in Bali. All these changes will be at no extra charges. He was perfectly ok with our original itinerary if we decided not to take up his suggestions. But, we took up his suggestions and it proved to be fruitful!! We were able to see experience more about the culture and history of Bali.

We would strongly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide and incredible experience of Bali. We could not think of any words to describe how great we feel during the tour.
